Step 2 - The Intro WOD
You've spoken with a member of Remix and scheduled your first intro workout, congrats! Now what...
Please arrive to the gym around 15 minutes early to check in and sign our electronic waiver. A trainer will be on hand waiting for you and will help guide you through the process. Your trainer will remain by your side the entire class. They have been assigned directly to you and their only responsibility is to train you one on one and make sure you are comfortable with all the movements and executing them with proper form. Another trainer will be in the gym running the normally scheduled class.
All new members are put through the same exact workout. The workout is modified to each individuals capacity and is designed to give you a good taste of what CrossFit is all about. The time it takes to complete the workout will vary by individual and their current fitness level. On average it will range from 10-25 minutes. The class will begin with a group warm up lead by the head trainer. They will introduce you to the class and everyone will be sure to make you feel right at home. After the group warm up, your personalized trainer will take you one on one to show you how to perform the movements and to go over your workout.
What to bring? Only a couple things are needed. We recommend a good pair of workout shoes, a water bottle and a towel. Also, a positive attitude will help make your first visit a wonderful experience.
